Jade Fountain in Wayzata

This place is AWFUL. The only thing that is good is the lo mein. We have ordered 2 times now and the first time the sesame chicken was gristly and hardly any meat to it. Worst Sesame Chicken I have EVER had. Then this time we ordered their take on Orange Chicken(Chicken in Orange Sauce is what they call it on their site) and we got the WRONG THING whatever it was I was not eating it. It had chicken and peppers and other stuff that was NOT orange chicken. We spent ALOT of money and their phone just keeps ringing. I will never order from here again. Nasty and upset.

Good portions with fair prices. As expected, some items were better than others. I really enjoyed the fried rice and egg rolls.

It's like going to your best friends house to get your hair done. Friendly, talented and my little get away place for some pampering! Highly recommend!

Looked like a nice place in Wayzata.So thought we would give it a try. Food was awful. Sesame chicken was chewy, little meat, grizzly pieces of something??? Fried rice was VERY salty and a ton of soya.. very dark in color.Will NOT go back very disappointed!

First and Last time ordering from this restaurant. Ordered takeout and the entire bottom of the bag was soaked with grease along with its contents which transferred to my carseat as well as my bag next to it. Called the establishment and was only offered a single order of eggrolls as compensation. The food we received was bland and not spicy at all. Very unimpressed and disappointed.

I sat in the store for 50 minutes today, that’s 50 minutes AFTER they told me it would be done. The silver lining is so were the other 8 people waiting which shows their ineptitude is systematic. Wish I could review the food but apparently they can’t pull it off today.

Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the rates are reasonable and it is regularly clean there. 5 stars.

Coworker picked up take out for a few of us. This was my first time eating food from here. I cannot wait to go for myself. The sesame chicken was crispy and very tasty. The fried rice was also good. The lunch specials are a spectacular value more food than i could finish at lunch.

Good chow mein but far from Eagan.

I've been coming here for about 30 years. It's always a favorite. The sesame chicken is absolutely wonderful. The only downside being sometimes when I've gotten deep fried items they taste like the frying oil is old and needs to be changed. Service is always 10/10!

Love this place, the people, and their food!

Oftentimes, restaurants in Downtown Wayzata can land you a much larger-than-usual bill while offering mediocre food. However, Jade Fountain manages to present authentic, high-quality Chinese cuisine at a phenomenal price. I went there at around 1pm on a Saturday and was immediately given hot tea and ice-cold water. I had the lunch special (~$10) which includes an egg roll (with two sauces), choice of soup, entree, and fried rice. Regardless of the affordable price, the quality of food and service was astronomical. I would definitely go again, especially during the Lunch special time.

The Jade Fountain is a long drive from my home but this is where I go when I want the best Chinese food. They have the best fried rice I have ever had. The quality and quantity of the food, along with the short wait time, is unparalleled.

I love the fried rice here! Its some of the best! Plus the service is awesome and very fast! My grandparents have been customers for a long time and now they got me hooked!

DO NOT GO HERE! Date-night-out and we decided on a whim to eat here and it was TERRIBLE! Bad food, bad service, and they made us wait forever in a overly warm restaurant to get the bill so we could pay for the worst dinning expereince ever. I wish I would have read reviews first but hopefully this will help someone else make a better decision than we did.

The best Chinese in the region. Great quality. Friendly owners. This place has it all. Great all you can eat lunch buffet and a huge selection on the dinner menu. You can't go wrong here.

Nice people and the food was really good.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight, trying to support local restaurants and many of my normal go-to places are closed. The staff members that I interacted with when picking the order up were extremely rude for no reason at all. Got home and realized the order was wrong, tried to call but it just rang and rang. The food I did get was just okay, the sesame chicken had a funny taste to it. I understand that mistakes happen and that this is a stressful time for everyone with the current health crisis, but I don't think that's an excuse for treating your customers rudely and disrespectfully. Will not be back.

Always great food and service. Tiger pork is my favorite. Mongolian beef is also great here. Shrimp fried rice is a must. Been coming here for years and never disappointed

Tried this place once with a friend and I am addicted ever since. I liked the fantastic character and tasty dishes and drinks. I recommend this place.

Went in to order take-out. The employees were really nice and it was really easy to place an order. I got sesame tofu, egg drop soup, and shrimp fried rice. Wait was not long. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend!

Duck had bones in it, chicken was extremely tough and overcooked.

We were there for the lunch buffet. It was delicious five entrees, fried rice, egg foo young, egg rolls and cheese won tons. Hot tea with meal very satisfying. Jade Fountain one of my favorite places.
